How to make a scratch for your kitten?
Cats have an innate need for scratching things. To protect your furniture and save some money, make your own cat's own scratch. Scroll to the basement or pantry and try to find the necessary parts for the scratch and any tools.
For the simplest scratch you need:
2 wooden plates, dimensions up to 30 × 30 cm, thickness at least 2cmm, one plate may be smaller in size from the other for the stability of the scratch
wooden pole, preferably oval, width 10-15cm, height you want. If you do not have a wooden pole, you can also use a firmer cardboard sleeve
drill / hammer and nails / clamps for upholstery
natural straw, a little thicker and harder, with a diameter of at least 5mm
another glue
little creativity and good will

Wrap the plates with a spade in such a way that the sling is tightened and stretched. Place a woodfix in a couple of places on the board to further tighten the spindle. Repeat the procedure with the column.
Center the pillar on the plates and secure the nails to the bottom and top plates. Make sure the nails are well knit for the stability of the scab and the safety of your cat. The longer the pillar the cat will have more room for stretching and scratching.
Now that the scratch is ready, it is necessary to lure the cat to her. Get your cat in action while scratching the furniture and pointing it to the scratch. Spread over her scarf over the scratch or with your fingernails, point out that she can scratch around here. Your cat got a new job, and you no longer need to worry about your furniture!
